Here at Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard we can take on any carpentry project your boat needs, and if you want a whole new boat built, we can do that too. Our carpentry staff is lead by Ernie Stuermer and Dusty MacMillan, who have a combined 80 years in the craft of cabinetry and fine joinery. Both are superlative shipwrights who can create new interior cabinetry, rebuild existing joinery or take on major exterior projects such as replacing teak decks. Both are presently involved in the restoration of a 1968 Luders 36, a project which includes replacing the entire deck and rebuilding interior cabinetry and bulkheads to museum quality.

Removing trim and forward end of cabin house which had rotten sections and previously done improper repairs.

Red Lion’ is a classic 1968, 36’ Luders design built by Cheoy Lee Yachts of Hong Kong. The owner of this vessel has selected AHBY to engage in a “museum grade restoration” of ‘Red Lion’. The skills of the Carpentry, Fiberglass, Mechanical and Paint departments will be utilized in this long term project.
